Hear, but chose what to listen to

We are all on our journey as learners, however, you do not have to listen to every single thing. As Oprah says, “everyone wants to be heard,” people are always ready to share this own form of wisdom.

However, in order to make progress it’s important to understand what you are trying to achieve and see if advice aligns with your end goal.

I learned this at my first hackathon and entrepreneurship event. Everyone has something to say: about the way you are working, and what you should change or add, however you sometimes end up making very little progress if you try to accommodate every persons recommendation.
